Community Involvement – Activities to Date

The County of Monmouth, in cooperation with the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) and the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT), recognize that community participation is an integral part of all stages of a project; therefore a comprehensive Public Involvement Action Plan (PIAP) has been developed for this project.  An outreach program has been developed for the Local Concept Development (LCD) Study phase of the project to include local officials, community stakeholders, agency representatives, and the general public in the transportation improvement development process for the Oceanic Bridge.

If you would would like to become a stakeholder, or if you or someone else requires special accommodations to participate in the public outreach process, please contact the project team through the project email. For more ways to get involved or contribute, visit our Get Involved! page.
