A navigation survey is being conducted by Monmouth County as part of the Oceanic Bridge S-31 Replacement Project.
Marine facilities along the Navesink River in the vicinity of the bridge have been contacted and, in coordination with the US Coast Guard, US Army Corps of Engineers, NJ Marine Police and local marine authorities (harbormasters), the Project Team is looking to obtain information about current and future navigational needs related to passage under the Oceanic Bridge.
It is important to also include input from local private navigational interests.
